Superb piece of Murano art glass, authentic, handmade on the island of Murano, Venice, Italy.
Years: 1970s/1980s

It employs the famous ancient Millefiori technique (with murrines), characterized by the inclusion of multiple small sections of colored glass canes forming floral and geometric motifs.
This particular model is distinguished by its modern and minimalist design:
A thick circular structure of transparent blown glass that encapsulates a bed of multicolored Millefiori as well as reflections or specks of silver dust.

It is a creation by master glassmakers, notably signed and labeled by the Venetian workshop Gambaro & Poggi
