Description from the seller
Magnificent antique candle holder in solid bronze, crafted with an elaborate ornamental repertoire typical of European metalwork from the late 19th or early 20th century. It features a richly repoussé mural disk, raised vegetal motifs, Rocaille typical of the style and period, all executed with exceptional depth and definition.
The arm and the candle holder display a sinuous morphology, with volutes, stylized leaves and sculptural details that reinforce its decorative character. The bronze preserves a warm and stable patina, an unequivocal sign of authenticity and age, very well detailed and contrasted. Excellent depth of relief.
Ideal piece for classic interiors, collectors of historical lighting, or decoration projects that require a strong visual presence.
