Monumental size vintage Moldovan carpet, entirely hand embroidered in traditional cross-stitch technique.

- Pattern: 4 large bouquets of red and hot pink roses, green leaves, floral border with small flowers - traditional Moldovan folk pattern - same pattern front and back (Față-Verso)
- Condition: Very good vintage condition. Vivid colors, dense embroidery, original black fringes. No holes.
- Weight: Approx 10-12 kg - heavy due to dense wool embroidery

This is NOT a woven kilim, it is a hand-embroidered carpet (scoarță cusută), which is even more labor-intensive than weaving. Each cross takes one stitch. For 5.2 meters, this represents many months of hand work.

Rare in this huge 5.2 meter length - made for large traditional houses.

Ideal as a long hallway runner, large living room carpet, or as a monumental wall hanging / tapestry.
