Val Saint Lambert - Yan Zoritchak - Statue, Sculptuur Uil - 16 cm - Crystal - 1980

A beautiful crystal sculpture of an owl (Eurasian eagle-owl / Grand-Duc), designed by the Slovak-French glass artist Yan Zoritchak for Val Saint-Lambert around the 1980s. The design uses an optical illusion: by carving a specific hollow at the back of the clear crystal, the front visually reveals the owl's characteristic eyes. The sculpture is usually signed on the bottom. Dimensions: height 16 cm, width 6 cm. Weight 476 g. This sculpture is in excellent condition. Everything will be well packed.
