Sculpture, charmante polychrome buste - 18 cm - Plaster - 1900

Charming multicolored plaster bust of a young woman from the Art Nouveau period, circa 1900.

The young woman is depicted with an elegant updo and a dress with puff sleeves, adorned with a broad collar with a relief floral motif. Her finely painted face contrasts beautifully with the patinated tones of the dress.

The softness of her expression, the lines of her hairstyle and the floral ornament of the collar are characteristic of the aesthetics of Art Nouveau and Belle Époque.

The bust bears the impressed mark "85 CF" on the back.

The bust has preserved a very beautiful antique patina, with a few small damages and wear to the polychromy, visible in the photos and appropriate to the age.
