Antique Neo-Renaissance / Victorian style, three-tiered wooden shelf with turned legs and railing (often called whatnot or étagère in English, sometimes also called atenienn, telephone holder or flower stand in Hungarian trade).
This type of finely crafted shelves made of dark-toned wood were popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for elegant storage of books, decorative objects or flowers.
(Étagère): It also played a central role in French furniture design, especially in Louis XIV and Napoleon III style interiors, from which the name etagère itself comes.
The table is in very good condition, it has a beautiful polished color, dark brown walnut, and has a couple of small signs of use.
