Serial number: 911295
One-of-a-kind piece, this handcrafted work was carried out by a professional lacquerer. The original chrome plating of each component has been removed, then several coats of paint were applied (in homage to the Safari limited edition), to finally achieve a matte olive green finish. This handcrafted, meticulous and refined manufacturing process ensures durability and prevents oxidation and chipping. As is well known, the piano lacquer finish of Leica cameras is a complex and demanding process. Over time, a natural bronze tint will appear, giving this device a unique and remarkable aesthetic.

The camera is in excellent condition, in perfect working order, with an impeccable finish and aesthetics. All components have been tested; the case is in excellent condition and the shutter speed is precise. The viewfinder, carefully maintained by Leica, is bright and sharp, and focusing with the yellow dot is fast and precise!

The lens is a Summicron 50/2 Rigid (first generation). It has also been repainted Safari edition; the superficial chrome layer has been removed, while the brass of the mount has been preserved. The result is fantastic: the paint is immaculate, like new, the lens is in excellent condition, the treatment is perfect, the lenses are clean, all functions are operational and the image is clear and brilliant!
with an original Leica lens cap and UVa filter.

All functions have been rigorously tested and work perfectly!
