Description from the seller

Murano hand-blown glass vase by Vetreria Barbini, 1980s–1990s.

The glass has an acid-etched satin finish and a colour gradient from deep teal at the top to translucent peach pink at the base. It is wrapped in a fine orange glass thread applied in a continuous spiral, ending in a decorative curl at the bottom, visible through the glass. The rim is hand-ground and polished.

It is a substantial, heavy piece (1.9 kg and 28 cm tall), a sign of careful craftsmanship.

The vase is signed Barbini Murano on the base and retains its original Barbini Murano adhesive label.

It is in excellent vintage condition, with minor signs of age consistent with its age. There are no cracks, chips or restorations.

It will be shipped in professional multi-layer packaging.
