Description from the seller

The upper section features three doors, the central one wider, with upper crosspieces of a gently arched profile. The interior has two levels of glass shelves and backs lined with a vegetal-pattern fabric, in light and gold tones, providing a decorative backdrop for displaying porcelain, silverware, or collectible objects.

The vertical posts are enriched with carved elements of wavy design, volutes and foliage. The crown is distributed across three cut-out pediments, the central one taller, featuring a composition of scrolls and shell motifs.

The base includes two padded side doors and an open central compartment, divided by a shelf. It rests on small feet with a flattened profile. The contrast between the different wood tones enhances the mouldings and the symmetric arrangement of the façade.

The ornamentation sits within the 19th-century revivalism of the D. José style, inspired by Portuguese Rococo.
