Description from the seller
Fascinating Desert Rose in a Sculptural Crystal Formation
A splendid and rare desert rose, a natural crystalline cluster of gypsum and barite formed under unique desert conditions. This specimen is notable not only for its mineral beauty but also for its exceptionally sculptural composition and its remarkable size.
Unlike many smaller specimens, this desert rose appears as a densely populated cluster of well-formed crystal 'petals', developing into a pyramidal or turret-like structure that almost seems architectural. The coloration is a warm golden-sand beige, uniform and natural, beautifully capturing the light.
The cluster is not a single nodular piece, but a complex, multidirectional aggregation of dozens of rose formations. Each petal is distinct and crisp, creating a rich and fascinating visual texture. The partial symmetry and vertical stacking of the main formations create an imposing centerpiece, a true masterpiece of nature.
Custom mounting: The specimen is securely mounted on a metal pin and raised on a high-quality dark-ebonized square base. This mounting not only protects the piece but also transforms it from a simple mineral sample into a sophisticated work of art and interior design, ready for display. The dark base contrasts perfectly with the light color of the mineral.
The specimen has been carefully cleaned and preserved. The crystals are intact and the rose formations are well defined without visible damage. The ebony base is in excellent condition. Please view the detailed photos carefully, which are an integral part of the description, to appreciate the texture and details of the crystals. Studio lighting (on a blue background) has been used to clearly demonstrate the shape and color.
Note for buyers: Desert rose is a natural mineral formation and, as such, may exhibit intrinsic imperfections that are not considered defects, but rather characteristics of its geological origin.
The piece will be packaged with the utmost care and attention, using shock-absorbing materials specifically for fragile minerals, to ensure safe transport to its destination. The shipment will be tracked.
