Description from the seller
Vintage Disney - Hand-carved wooden figures of Huey, Dewey & Louie - Set of 3 - 1980s/90s
Description
For the true Disney fan or vintage collector: a beautiful, complete set of Donald Duck’s three iconic nephews: Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
These distinctive figures are entirely hand-carved from solid wood and hand-painted. Each nephew is recognizable by his own colored sweater (dark blue, green, and brown/red) and signature cap. As these are genuinely handmade, each figure is unique, which is also evident in the charming details and slight variations in weight from one figure to another.
The undersides of the figures are unfinished, beautifully revealing the authentic wood grain. An incredibly decorative set that is rarely offered in this complete grouping.
Specifications per figure:
• Characters: Huey, Dewey, and Louie (Disney)
• Material: Solid wood (hand-carved and hand-painted)
• Height: approx. 20 cm
• Width: approx. 10 cm
• Depth: approx. 9 cm
• Weight: 327 grams, 430 grams, and 440 grams (total weight approx. 1,200 grams)
• Period: 1980s / 90s
• Condition: In good vintage condition, with normal signs of age inherent to wooden items (see photos for an accurate impression).
