Fake antique double bed sheet (made to resemble a trousseau item), an authentic masterpiece of Italian textile craftsmanship dating from the Liberty period (before 1914). The piece stands out for its exceptional workmanship and museum-quality condition, ideal for purist collectors as well as a luxurious decorative accent (monumental runner, bed headboard, or drapery).

Main Features & Needlework:
Fabric and Authenticity: Made in pure heavy antique linen with a tactile body. The half-twill weave clearly highlights the characteristic "slubs" and the small irregular knots of the thread, undeniable testimony of artisanal spinning and the subsequent pounding on early 20th-century manual looms.
The Central Monogram: At the top dominates a majestic, sinuous floral monogram with the interwoven initials "T" and "S" in elegant period cursive script, masterfully executed in raised full-stitch.
Cutwork (Intaglio): The letters and the rich botanical tracery (characterized by umbrella-like inflorescences and symmetric foliate motifs) are finished with an ultra-fine cutwork stitch, the openings impeccably clean and stable thanks to perfectly executed needle linking bars.
Double Drawnwork Trim and Lace: The decorative base is marked by a double order of horizontal drawnwork counted by threads: an inner linear day-stitch band (in columns) and a rich outer hourglass-point band in gigliuccio motif. The edge is finally finished with a delicate Valencienne-inspired lace, handmade.
