Description from the seller
Luxval – Val Saint-Lambert – Set of 3 amber-colored vases “Américain” – Catalog 1935
Beautiful and decorative set of three original Luxval vases from the Belgian crystal manufacturer Val Saint-Lambert, produced in a warm, shimmering amber color.
These special vases bear the model name “Américain” and are included in the Luxval catalog of 1935.
The vases are characterized by their elegant, slender form, the gracefully flaring flower-shaped top edge, and the refined vertical relief lines that make the amber-colored glass shine beautifully when light passes through it.
Also the distinctive hexagonal base gives these models their unique appearance. The combination of geometric shapes and flowing lines makes this set a fine example of Belgian art deco design from the interwar period.
The three vases form a particularly harmonious whole thanks to their different sizes. Both individually and together they are real eye-catchers for enthusiasts and collectors of Luxval and Belgian glassware.
