Roco Minitanks H0 – 824 – Diesel locomotive BR 290 999-2 – Bundeswehr – Limited Edition

Diesel locomotive BR 290 with works number 290 999-2, released by Roco within the Minitanks series. It concerns the Bundeswehr version in a dark red livery with light decorative lines and a black underframe.

The model is offered in the original Roco Minitanks packaging labeled ‘Special Limited Edition’, including the accompanying styrofoam inner packaging.

This locomotive comes from my parents’ former shop stock and was tested there at the time. I have not re-tested the locomotive myself. Therefore, the current operation of the motor and any lighting is not known.
The original box shows storage marks, edge wear, and an old price sticker.
