Beautiful and rare solid Persian silver decorative dish. Finely hand-worked, through engraving and repoussé (the art of ghalamzani).
Already in the middle of the dish is cast an authentic silver coin of 5000 Dinars (5 kran) from 1927 (year SH 1306). On the obverse is the bust of Reza Shah Pahlavi and on the reverse the imperial symbol of the Lion and the Sun (visible on the outer bottom).
Material: Persian silver / Russian-punched 875/1000 fineness
Total weight: 89.15 g
Period: Circa 1927-1930 (Pahlavi period)
Condition: excellent
Beautiful original patina and no significant dents.

Prachtig en zeldzaam sierkommetje schotel van massief Perzisch zilver.fijn met hand bewerkt, door gravure en repousse (kunst van ghalamzani) 
Al in midden van de kom is een authentieke zilveren munt van 5000 Dinars ( 5 kran) uit 1927 (jaar sh 1306) ingestoten. Waarop de voorzijde het borstbeeld van Reza shah Pahlavi staat en op de achterzijde het keizerlijke symbool van de leeuw en zon(zichtbaar op debuitenste onderkant)
