Sculpture, XXL - Allegorie van de Overwinning met trompet & lauwerkrans - 65.5 cm - Bronze, Marble

An impressive sculpture in a classical, allegorical style. The winged female figure stands gracefully on one leg atop a decorated globe and carries a trumpet and a laurel wreath — ancient symbols of victory, fame, and triumph.

The rich drapery of the garment, worked feathers, expressive stance, and dark patinated finish give this object a powerful, almost monumental presence. The sculpture rests on a fine black pedestal with a decorative gold-colored band.

On the globe is visible the signature “Bazzias”, with numbering 7147; see the original detail photo for reference.
