Description from the seller
Splendid Vintage Sansui SR-4050C Turntable - A Classic of Hi-Fi
For sale a magnificent Sansui turntable model SR-4050C, a true jewel for lovers of vintage Hi-Fi and the warmth of analog sound. Made in Japan, this model combines an elegant aesthetic, thanks to its heavy finished wooden base, with precision mechanics typical of the golden age of high fidelity.
Key Features:
• Brand/Model: Sansui SR-4050C
• Type: "Automanual Turntable" (Manual with Auto Up-Stop function at the end of the record)
• Drive: Belt Drive
• Speeds: 33 and 45 RPM (selectable via dedicated buttons)
• Tonearm: Precision tonearm with adjustable counterweight and integrated Anti-Skating system
• Format Selector: Settings for 17, 25 and 30 cm records
• Power: Multi-voltage selectable (AC 100/115/130/200/230/250V - 50/60Hz)
• Aesthetics: Elegant wooden-finished plinth with black top chassis and smoky plexiglass dustcover.
Condition and State:
• Aesthetics: The turntable presents itself in excellent cosmetic condition for its age (see original photos). The wooden base is beautifully preserved and gives the device a premium look. The dustcover is intact, hinges support it correctly and it shows only the normal light surface signs of time.
• Mechanical/Electronic: The tonearm and controls are in perfect order. "Tested and working, the motor runs quietly and smoothly", could benefit from a classic service.
• Cartridge/Stylus: Cartridge present with mounted stylus
Note: The vinyl record (Claudio Baglioni) shown in the photos is for demonstration purposes only and is NOT included in the sale.
Shipping and Packaging:
I guarantee bomb-proof packing! The turntable will be packaged with extreme care, locking the tonearm, removing or securing the counterweight and protecting the platter and the dustcover with plenty of bubble wrap and polystyrene to prevent any damage during transport. Tracked and secure shipping.
