Serving trolley - Travertine - Regency Hollywood

This elegant Hollywood Regency-style serving table from the latter half of the 20th century perfectly embodies the refined luxury and the scenographic glamour that defined this decorative current, inspired by the sophistication of the great North American interiors. Its structure, executed in brass or gilt bronze, blends clean lines and balanced proportions with ornamented details inspired by classical motifs, achieving a distinguished presence without sacrificing visual lightness.

The design centers on two transparent glass surfaces that bring luminosity and allow the metallic architecture of the piece to be fully appreciated. The upper shelf, of generous dimensions, offers an elegant surface for service, while the middle shelf introduces a practical resting space, framed by a delicate twisted edge that adds decorative richness and emphasizes the craftsmanship of the whole.

The vertical supports culminate in refined neoclassical volutes, a characteristic motif of the Hollywood Regency language, which reinterprets classical elements through lustrous finishes and noble materials. A delicate system of crossed braces provides structural stability while introducing an appealing geometric rhythm to the composition.

The base features a light-toned travertine marble platform, whose natural texture and subtle veining harmonize with the warm glow of the golden metal and the transparency of the crystals. This detail not only reinforces the sense of luxury but also adds visual weight and balance to the ensemble. The piece is completed by its integrated wheels, which allow easy movement while preserving its full elegant functionality.

Sleek and versatile, this serving table stands as a magnificent example of mid-20th-century decorative design, capable of fitting both classic and contemporary interiors, bringing a note of timeless glamour, refinement, and exclusivity.
