Description from the seller

True jewel of cuisine: ancient sauté pan in solid copper of exceptional thickness. Made by the prestigious and historic Belgian house PETER BRUX (1933-2006), this piece surpasses the usual standards. For a 15 cm diameter, it weighs a whopping 2.0 kg! This attests to a massive copper thickness (professional gauge "Heavy Duty"), ideal for perfect thermal conduction and reducing sauces without ever burning.

Brand: PETER BRUX (clear hallmarks stamped near the handle)
Diameter: 15 cm
Weight: 2.0 kg (a piece of rare density!)
Materials: Body in very thick red copper, long traditional forged iron handle fixed by sturdy copper rivets, interior tinned.
Condition: Beautiful vintage state "as is." The handle is firmly anchored and does not move. The exterior copper shows a superb antique patina. The interior tin has aged; the pan is ideal for an authentic kitchen or restaurant decoration. For regular culinary use, interior re-tinning will be necessary.
