Box - Bakelite

1930s Art Deco Advertising Box – Presumed Bakelite – Docteur Zizine

Antique rectangular box from the Art Deco period, dating to around the 1930s, made of black molded material, probably Bakelite.

Its removable lid is decorated with a gold-tone design depicting a woman in profile blowing bubbles, framed by drapery, columns, and geometric motifs.

The inside of the lid bears the raised inscription “Laboratoires du Docteur Zizine,” accompanied by the names of pharmaceutical products, attesting to its advertising purpose.

The underside features a molded logo, along with the words “Paris” and “Déposé.”

Good overall condition, with a few scratches and signs of use, visible in the photographs.
