Description from the seller

A matched pair of richly decorated Chinese porcelain bowls, executed in the traditional famille-rose style. Both bowls have a diameter of about 30 cm and are adorned with colorful decorations on both the inner and outer surfaces. The designs consist of floral motifs, butterflies, vases, and traditional Chinese ornaments. Notable are the coral-red bands with gold-toned ornaments and the black decorative rims with gold-colored floral motifs. On the underside there is a red four-character mark in Qianlong style. Details Origin: China (style and decoration) Quantity: 2 bowls Diameter: about 30 cm per bowl Material: porcelain Decoration: famille-rose style, polychrome with gold-toned accents Mark: red four-character mark in Qianlong style Condition The bowls show signs of use and age. On one of the bowls there is lime scale buildup on the interior side, resulting from prior contact with water. This buildup has deliberately not been removed with aggressive cleaning agents to protect the decoration. The photos form an important part of the condition description and show the current state of both bowls. A decorative and matching pair of Chinese bowls with a rich and colorful traditional decoration.
