Description from the seller

Mid-Century Pendant Light in Cut Glass – FontanaArte / Veca Style – 1970s

A splendid and elegant Italian vintage pendant light from the 1970s, in classic Mid-Century Modern style. Based on the quality of its craftsmanship, the substantial thickness of the glass, and its characteristic geometric detailing, the design is strongly attributable to, or reminiscent of, the celebrated FontanaArte or Veca pieces of that period.
The light consists of a central cross-shaped metal frame with a polished chrome finish, fitted with four large, thick rectangular panels of clear glass. The glass features refined ground and beveled edges—a hallmark of excellent craftsmanship that creates extraordinary geometric refractions of light when the lamp is switched on.
The clean lines and perfect combination of transparent glass and mirrored chrome make this piece a timeless design icon, ideal for enhancing a dining table or an elegant living room (Vintage, Japandi, or minimalist interiors).
• Condition: Vintage condition. The chrome frame retains its original shine, with only very slight signs of age that are entirely consistent with its age. The electrical wiring is original and working, and the suspension chain is included.

Dimensions and Measurements

• Height of the light body alone (glass panels): 30 cm
• Overall width / depth: 23 cm x 23 cm
• Width of each glass panel: 15 cm
• Chain + cable length (adjustable): Approximately 40–50 cm (maximum overall height from the ceiling: approximately 75–80 cm)
