Capitello (at the top): It presents a circular and moulded shape that widens upward, recalling a simple and geometric style similar to the Doric or Tuscan order.
Fusto (in the middle): It is the main part of the column. It has a cylindrical shape, a smooth finish (free of fluting), and shows the texture typical of limestone or light travertine.
Base (at the bottom): A moulded cylindrical element that serves as support and rests directly on the ground, ensuring visual and structural stability.
This type of column is usually used as a load-bearing or decorative element in porticoes, entrances, historic villas or elegant gardens.
