LEGO Set - 76958 - Jurassic World - Dilophosaurus Ambush

The LEGO Jurassic Park Dilophosaurus Ambush (set 76958) was released in 2023 and is now retired.

For those following the Jurassic Park sets: this set belongs to the wave for the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park and is based on the well-known scene in which Dennis Nedry makes off with the stolen dino DNA. On the way to East Dock he crashes in the rain and is ambushed by a Dilophosaurus. A recognizable and beloved moment from the first film.

The set consists of 211 pieces and includes one minifigure, Dennis Nedry, plus a Dilophosaurus figure.

As for the model itself: a buildable Jurassic Park Jeep with a seat for Nedry, plus a small jungle piece with an East Dock sign that you can drive around with the Jeep. Also included is the famous Barbasol can in which Nedry hides the stolen dino DNA, and there are mud textures and dinosaur footprints incorporated.

This is a playable set, but because of the iconic scene, the Dennis Nedry minifigure, and the fact that it is now out of production, it is also nice for Jurassic Park collectors.
