Description from the seller

Central African mask (Lwa Lwa/Lwalwa, attributed) – characterful patina

Mask, attributed to the Lwalwa (DR Congo), with a very characterful, dark patina and a pronounced, geometric modeling. The face is strongly architectural in construction with a striking nose area and narrow viewing openings. The perforations along the edge indicate original attachment of organic elements (fibers/head-dress), which is common with ritual masks from Central Africa.

Dimensions:
Height: 25 cm
Width: 20 cm
Depth: 11 cm

Important: the base on the photos is for presentation purposes only; not included.
