Description from the seller
Bergère Armchair in Venetian Baroque Style with Floral Decorations
Elegant Bergère armchair in Venetian Baroque style, characterized by a refined carved and lacquered wood frame in ivory tones with delicate gold detailing and multicolored floral decorations. The high, enveloping backrest features a sculpted and sinuous line, enhanced at the top by a refined floral carving painted in pastel tones of green, pink, and blue.
The seat, wide and comfortable, is upholstered in ivory-colored fabric, with a generous padded cushion and padded side arms. Along the profiles of the backrest, sides, and frame runs a distinctive border with aged metal studs, further highlighting the chair’s elegant shapes.
The lower front fascia is enriched with hand-painted floral and foliate motifs, in delicate multicolored tones, while the cabriole curved legs complete the refined and dynamic aesthetic of the chair. The back of the backrest is also fully upholstered, with a shaped wooden frame and studded border, making the piece suitable for placement in the center of a room.
A chair of great decorative charm, ideal for elegant living rooms, bedrooms, reception entrances, or spaces furnished in a classical and Venetian style.
