Antique Edwardian Mahogany Envelope Card & Games Table (c. 1900)
A beautiful, fully functional Edwardian envelope card table in mahogany. Features a top with four triangular hinged leaves that swivel and open to reveal a classic green baize (felt) playing surface with four built-in token/counter wells. Includes a single storage drawer with its original decorative brass pull handle and intact gold damask patterned paper lining. Supported on elegant turned, fluted legs.
• Condition: good antique condition. Wood has a rich patina with light age-related surface wear. Green felt top shows authentic wear and minor staining consistent with age but remains fully intact. Mechanism swivels and opens smoothly.
It recently has been washed using the gommalacca technique.
