Description from the seller
Collection of 12 pieces of Magnetite, Siderite, Pyrite, Quartz, Dolomite, and Barite from the Brosso and Traversella mines
• Sample description: An exceptional study-and-collection lot consisting of 12 assorted historical samples, with sizes ranging from 5 to 9 cm, ideal for best representing the famous parageneses of the two most renowned Piedmontese mines. The lot encompasses a splendid variety of mineral species and associations, including spectacular aggregates of golden pyrite and chalcopyrite with sharp terminations of colorless quartz, densely geode-like formations covered with lamellar crystals of siderite in a pink-brown color arranged in the typical "rose" shape, shiny blocks of massive magnetite associated with cubic and octahedral pyrite, and well-formed crystal samples of dolomite and barite. The assorted sizes of the individual pieces form a highly educational, aesthetic, and complete set.
• Brief locality description: Brosso and Traversella Mines, Valchiusella (Torino, Piedmont, Italy) – A mining district and skarn site among the world’s most famous for geological complexity, renowned since Roman times and the subject of international mineralogical studies.
• Crystal therapy note: In holistic practice, this rich combination of metallic minerals and silicates blends the grounding and protective properties of magnetite and pyrite with the inner strength of siderite and the quartz ability to amplify, purify, and channel subtle energies throughout the body.
• Notes: Basents not included in the sale.
• Shipping: NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE EU
