A striking statement of early 20th-century geometric design, this authentic Art Deco brooch is crafted in solid 925 silver with a beautifully aged antique patina. The impressive architectural centerpiece features a custom-cut, lozenge-shaped black onyx gemstone securely set within a bold openwork frame. The stylized silver mount is intricately detailed with sweeping, machine-age scrolls and a central cross motif, heavily encrusted with sparkling rose-cut marcasites that provide a brilliant contrast to the dark focal stone. The reverse is fitted with a classic straight pin and a secure roll-over safety clasp, clearly stamped with a silver purity hallmark on the central cartouche.
