Offered here is a beautifully and extremely solidly built Leitz Leica Bellows II. Please note: This is the later and highly sought-after “Red Badge” version. The red Leitz logo on this example is not merely an aesthetic feature; it indicates the factory modification by Leitz, in which the rear section was modified. Whereas early versions fit only the Visoflex II, this desirable version with the red logo is fully compatible with both the Visoflex II and the larger Visoflex III. This makes it highly functional and popular with both collectors and active macro photographers.
The unit is finished in classic gray crackle paint (hammer-tone finish). Thanks to its extremely precise rack-and-pinion adjustment, the distance can be adjusted with millimeter precision.
