Description from the seller
Set of 48 clear crystal glasses, mouth-blown and hand-finished, from various collectible brands, comprising: Photo 4 – set of 6 martini, long drink, or champagne coupe glasses. They feature a flared bowl, a slender, elongated stem with a connecting knop, and a circular foot. The upper part of the bowl is embellished with delicate acid-etched decoration depicting a continuous ornamental motif with horizontal bands and geometric-floral details. Made by the Empoli glassworks (Florence) in the 1930s (Art Deco). This type of needle-etched decoration was particularly widespread in the first half of the 20th century. Size: height 13.6 x diameter 12.6 cm. Photo 6 – set of 6 flute glasses or slender sparkling wine/champagne glasses. They feature a clear body that flares toward the top, with an acid-etched band of floral and aromatic herb motifs around the upper part, a spherical cobalt-blue knop on the stem, and a circular clear foot shaded in blue. Marked underneath: Luminarc (the “Cavalier” line from the 1960s/’70s). Size: height 16.7 x diameter 6.5 cm. Photo 8 – 5 wine glasses. They feature a rounded bowl (tulip/balloon shape), finely decorated around the entire upper circumference with elaborate acid etching depicting acanthus scrolls, arabesques, and floral motifs in the Renaissance/Rococo style. The stem has a distinctive shaped knop (baluster knop/central ring) and joins a flat, circular foot. Made by renowned French glassworks in the early 1900s (the height of the Art Nouveau / Belle Époque period, approximately 1890–1920). Size: height 14.5 x diameter 6.5 cm. Photo 10 – 2 wine glasses, Domino model by Peill. Clear, square stem. Status: Discontinued. Circa 1973. Size: height 15.8 x diameter 7.7 cm. Photo 12 – 2 French water glasses. They feature a flared bowl with the characteristic eight flat facets (broad ribbed facets) that create reflections of light, a stem with a prominent central knop/ring, and a solid, engraved circular foot. They are reminiscent of historic models such as the Caton by Saint-Louis or similar flat-ribbed models by Baccarat. Size: height 15.5 x diameter 8.4 cm. Photo 14 – 2 wine glasses made by Rosenthal (Germany), model/line: Squares. Circa 1960s (Mid-Century Modern, c. 1960). Cylindrical/rounded bowl
