Description from the seller
Elegant covered centerpiece in 833‰ Portuguese silver, circular in shape and richly decorated with raised floral and foliage motifs, showcasing the quality and craftsmanship of traditional Portuguese silversmithing.
The base bears the Eagle hallmark (1938–1984) for 833‰ silver, while the lid bears the Boar hallmark (1887–1937), also for 833‰ silver, indicating that the lid was adapted from an older piece and is perfectly integrated with the set.
The interior is gilded (vermeil), a typical feature of pieces intended for serving sugar, chocolates, or other delicacies.
The decoration, crafted by hand, features flowers, roses, and foliage in beautifully defined relief, giving it an elegant, timeless appearance.
It is in very good overall condition, with only minor signs of use consistent with the age of the piece. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
