Description from the seller
The Yamaha CD-S300 is a popular and reliable hi-fi CD player known for its excellent value for money and pure sound reproduction. Although the model has now been succeeded by the CD-S303, it remains a much sought-after player on the (second-hand) market due to its solid build quality and handy functionalities.
Key features and specifications
Pure Direct mode: At the touch of a button, you can turn off the digital audio output circuit and display. This minimizes any electronic noise and interference for the purest analog sound quality.
Front USB connector: Equipped with a front USB port that makes it easy to play MP3 and WMA files from a USB stick or older iPod/iPhone.
Intelligent Digital Servo: This system monitors signal processing and adjusts the spindle speed and focus of the laser to correct any errors due to dirt or scratches on the CD.
High-quality DAC: The built-in digital-to-analog converter (Burr-Brown DAC) ensures a highly accurate conversion with minimal distortion.
Outputs: Features both an analog RCA (tulip) output and digital outputs (optical and coaxial) to flexibly connect it to any amplifier.
Tested and operational!
