This traditional tea set from India is in good condition.
It consists of a serving plate, teapot, sugar bowl and six tea cups.
Through extensive use, the nickel has been worn through and the underlying brass has become visible on the lid of the sugar bowl.
It is fully complete and intact, and functions perfectly.
It is of a heavy quality and certainly no tourist trinket!
The decorative engravings are handmade
Traditionally it was a strong tea with lots of sugar.
Hence the relatively large sugar jar.
Guests were offered this as a sign that they were welcome in one’s home.

Has a high decorative value and is still functional.

Diameter serving board: 29 cm.
Height tea cups: 4.5 cm.
Height teapot: 16.5 cm.
Height of the sugar bowl: 11 cm.
Weight: +/-1.5 kg.
