A fascinating instrument with clean, repeated lines that do not break, but end in symmetrical curves, a design patented in 1939 by John Vassos (industrial designer). Classic Art Deco style from the 1930s, this is a diatonic 12-hole double-clef Hohner Echo Elite harmonica. 2 clefs: C on one side, G on the other side. This harmonica is in very good physical condition and it has a great reverberation and tone. All notes work. The ‘Echo Elite’ harmonica was produced in Germany by Hohner between 1933 and 1940. This special model was created for the World Fair in Chicago in 1933 and made until the 1940s. Red enamelled metal finish with chrome Art Deco design. This instrument is in very good condition; no dents, no scratches, very good sound, it only shows a scraping in the paint as shown in photos. Its box has slight signs of wear. Size: 17.5 cm x 6 cm, thickness: 2.5 cm Weight: 263 g
