Ger van Oers

A beautiful earthenware Nativity scene consisting of 11 figurines, which are all part of the Nativity, unique pieces, among which:
1)	Mary 
2)	Joseph
3)	Baby Jesus in a bedding
4)	The ox
5)	The donkey
6)	3 Wise Men 
7)	Camel
8)	Shepherd
9)	A group of 3 sheep 
The tallest character weighs cm. 30, the other figurines cm. 21/22, the longest figurine measures cm. 28/29. One of the figurines is slightly scratched on the back, as shown in the photo.
All figurines bear the artist’s signature.
 Ivan Dimitrov (Dupniza, October 7, 1958) is a Bulgarian sculptor, painter and engraver. He works in Italy, in Bologna, and there are various exhibitions of his terracotta sculptures dedicated to the theme of the Nativity and inspired by famous nativity scenes of the great masters of art history, such as Leonardo and Durer, Brueghel and Rubens, of which Dimitrov interpreted with his sculpture, some of the most famous paintings.
