This beautiful, brilliant emerald-red vase was made in the Meissener Bleikristall factory in the famous town of Meissen, Germany. This company has made cut crystal to a very high standard since 1947, as is evident when viewing this exquisite piece. The hand-crafted Snow White decorations are cleverly cut so that the centre sparkles in the light, almost like real ‘diamonds’. Each Meissen vase is hand-crafted and therefore unique. This vintage, exclusive vase is rare and signed with ‘M’ for Meissen, the signature of the designer (‘JW’) and has the Meissen factory label. The vase is really lovely and a must-have for a collector of exclusive glass and crystal. The retail price is €3,400, see photos.
