Halloween - myth, legend, holiday. Here in Germany, too, the custom of roaming the dark streets in disguise on 31 October to collect sweets is becoming increasingly popular. Known as All Saints' Day in Germany, this holiday was originally associated with the Catholic Church and was brought to the USA by Catholic Irish. To honour the customs of Halloween night again this year, this special Halloween edition of the Maple Leaf comes with three spooky and beautiful motifs. The second coin of the 2021 edition, entitled Angry Pumpkin, features a pumpkin with a frightening facial expression. His facial openings are illuminated, adding further emphasis to his menace. Below the pumpkin is the frightening inscription "HALLOWEEN". The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the nominal value and the year of issue 2021. This coin made of one ounce of 99.99% pure silver in colour gives you the shivers. The limited Halloween special edition Angry Pumpkin will be delivered in a slab including an appropriately illustrated product card.
