A very rare lidded flagon, the body cylindrical with the top half pinched in to a flared neck with thumb piece on a domed lid. The attached strap handle has the hinge for the lid under the thumb piece, and the base is recessed and stepped and with a collectors label - 240 Chris Crabtree Collection, a well known collector of glass and drinking vessels.

In fine condition with no evidence of use, but with cleaning marks to the base. A very handsome collectors piece, ideal for display as a talking point   or for interior furnishing.
