Fabric doll with felt head, crocheted hat, brown glass eyes, painted eyelashes and eyebrows, a tiny spot on her nose, original earrings (creoles), and an painted open, smiling mouth. She has a velvet upper body and velvet feet. She wears silk pants that are attached to the body. The pants look a bit worn and have a repaired seam. She also wears a silk blouse with a cord on it. Her clothes and the hat are authentic and in good condition.

The doll is marked on the right foot with: Hygienic Toys made in England by Chad Valley Co Ltd. Chad Valley dolls were made from 1917. The fabric faces are handpainted and the bodies are made of velvet. Chad Valley, created from a fuse of several companies, was a family business that went from father to son. The company was named after the stream that was near the English factory in Harborne. The company closed in 1978. The brand ´Chad Valley´ went to Woolworths in 1988.

This sweet, special doll will be firmly wrapped and send by registered mail (track and trace).
