Deze lamp is in 1933 ontworpen door Christian Dell en geproduceerd door de Oostenrijkse verlichtingsfabrikant Brüder Koranda & Co met als modelnaam TL 122. De ontwerpen van Christian Dell waren destijds zeer innovatief en trendsettend. De kap en staander zijn zwenkbaar en naar vrijwel alle kanten te draaien. De staander is verchroomd en voorzien van een handvat van gelakt hout.  De kap, voet en het handvat hebben een zacht grijze kleur.  Lamp is gereinigd, gecontroleerd en hersteld in oorspronkelijk benaderende staat en verkeert dus in zeer goede conditie. De lamp is op de voet gemerkt met het label van Koranda. Een mooi een tijdloos ontwerp dat past in een eigentijds interieur.

Christian Dell (1893-1974) studeerde aan de Dresden Arts and Crafts School in Weimar en is een echte vertegenwoordiger van de Bauhaus periode. In de periode 1922-1925 werkzaam in het Bauhaus in Weimar.
