Description from the seller

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Original Dutch-delivered Maserati Biturbo from 1984
• Rare "Oer-Biturbo" – the world’s very first production car ever to feature a twin-turbo engine
• Only ~77,000 km on the odometer and an impressive 19 years in the same owner’s possession
• In 2025 technically fully roadworthy and inspected by Classic Car Doctor
• Bodywork completely damage- and weld-free with professionally undersealed underside

HISTORIE/OVERZICHT:

The Maserati Biturbo, introduced in 1981 under the leadership of Alejandro de Tomaso, is an iconic model that made history as the world’s first production car with a twin-turbo (double turbo) engine. This specific example is an original, Netherlands-delivered "Oer-Biturbo" from 1984 with a low mileage of approximately 77,000 km. The car has been exceptionally well preserved throughout its life, including a period of no less than 19 years with one owner, and has always been stored in warm, dry conditions when not in use. It is a pure and untouched specimen that is technically and visually fully up-to-date.

EXTERIEUR:

The bodywork is in very good condition and is completely damage- and weld-free. The paint, window surrounds, and all rubber seals are also in very good condition. To protect against corrosion, the underside of the vehicle is professionally undersealed.

INTERIEUR:

The interior is in beautiful condition, which fully aligns with the low mileage and carefully preserved character of the vehicle.

TECHNIEK:

Powered by the innovative V6 engine with twin turbochargers. In 2025 the vehicle received a full technical inspection and was made roadworthy by specialist Classic Car Doctor in Eibergen. In this process, various components were ultrasonically cleaned and the electrical system revised. The car is entirely free of defects or malfunctions and is ready to drive.

DOCUMENTEN:

The vehicle is delivered with a fully documented history and the recent maintenance invoice from Classic Car Doctor for the work carried out in 2025.

The vehicle can be viewed and collected in Zeddam, Netherlands. Bids are exclusive of transport and export, unless stated otherwise. Arranging transportation, the ownership transfer and any export documents/COC costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
