Splendida macchina da scrivere Olivetti 22 portatile, degli anni '50 con scatola originale in legno. La macchina è in condizioni perfette.  Ottimamente funzionante. Componenti come nuovi. Dotata di nastri originali a due colori. E' corredata della sua scatola originale in legno per il trasporto. La Lettera 22, presentata nel 1950, sostituì la MP1 che era sul mercato da circa 20 anni. Questa portatile presenta importanti novità nel design e nella parte tecnica con nuovi cinematismi, ed è la capostipite di una nuove famiglia di macchine per scrivere della Olivetti. Fu compagna di lavoro per molti scrittori e giornalisti, fra cui Enzo Biagi e Indro Montanelli. Le linee arrotondate scelte dal designer M. Nizzoli, la compattezza della macchina, l’eleganza della tastiera incorporata nella carrozzeria, il rullo completamente nascosto e il ridotto ingombro della leva dell’interlinea hanno decretato il successo stilistico della macchina. In Italia è premiata nel 1954 con il Compasso d’Oro. La macchina è esposta al MOMA (The Museum of Modern Art) di New York nella sezione Architettura e Design.
