Meer dan 50 jaar geleden verliet David Marshall, aangetrokken door het klimaat, het licht en het prachtige landschap, zijn geboorteland Schotland, vestigde zich in het zuiden van Spanje en begon zijn artistieke carrière.
Hij blijft zijn sculpturen tentoonstellen in galerijen in Europa en de Verenigde Staten, waar hij een studio oprichtte in de Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
