Statuette, Buste de Molière - 15 cm - Patinated bronze

Bust of Molière, great French playwright, cast in patinated metal (either brass or bronze), resting on a black marble base. The face is finely sculpted, with a noble expression, the patina evenly aged. The inscription MOLIÈRE is visible on the base.

Statue 10 cm high, base 5 cm, i.e., 15 cm tall with a 5 cm width and depth.

A decorative object of character, typical of the learned interiors of the late 19th century.
