Il cappello Amedeo Panama Fine ha una tesa larga di 7,5 cm e una cinta in canneté di 3 cm con logo. La produzione dei cappelli Borsalino in paglia inizia in Ecuador, dove la paglia locale è ricavata dalle foglie della palma toquilla, bollite e poi lasciate asciugare al sole. Questo processo può richiedere fino a sei mesi. Gli abili artigiani ecuadoregni intrecciano le fibre vegetali a mano, realizzando cloche parziali di altissima qualità. Dopo un accurato controllo qualità, le cloche sono inviate alla Maison di Alessandria, dove hanno luogo i regolari processi di manifattura, molto rigidi e complessi. Una volta aggiunto il nastro, la tesa viene irrigidita ulteriormente prima che il cappello sia pronto per le fasi finali: decorazioni, cuciture, ispezione e inscatolamento - tutto eseguito manualmente.
