Detailed product description

Caol Ila 11 y. o. Ambrosial Feast from the Special Releases 2024 series is not only an unusual unpeated variation of single malt from Islay, but also a whiskey with an interesting production process.
The result of a shorter fermentation is a cloudy wort, which lays the foundation for a wonderfully creamy and distinctly nutty taste. Distillation in small batches allows greater contact of the liquid with the copper, which adds fresh notes of green apple and a spicy accent to the distillate. Everything is then finished and pleasantly rounded by aging in rejuvenated wine barrels. Also, the pleasantly fruity and nutty eleven-year-old Caol Ila is bottled at cask strength, has 57.3% alc.
