Kristallen pot met zilveren dop van Charles May – Birmingham, circa 1880

Een bijzonder elegant en uitstekend bewaard gebleven kristallen pot, voorzien van een zeer fraaie en sierlijke zilveren dop, vervaardigd door de gerenommeerde Engelse zilversmid Charles May. De dop, gekeurd in Birmingham circa 1880, is uitgevoerd in 925 sterling zilver en rijkelijk versierd met verfijnde gravures, kenmerkend voor het Victoriaanse tijdperk.

De pot zelf is gemaakt van helder, geslepen kristal en wordt geleverd met het originele glazen stopje – een detail dat zelden bewaard is gebleven en de authenticiteit en compleetheid van dit stuk onderstreept.
