The artist Helmut Gerigk was born on 14.3.1953 in Wiesbaden as the son of Regierungsdirektor Walter Gerigk. His artistic talent had already shown itself in elementary school. Gerigk attended the Wiesbaden Free Art School under Professor Becker. Gerigk was a co-founder of the street festival “Theatrium.” Gerigk often visited his friend Salvador Dali in Port Lligat / in whose house. Gerigk is a recipient of the Salvador Dali Award and an honorary member of the Artists’ Guild St. Luke’s of Antwerp. Works by Gerigk are distributed around the world and have participated in over 100 exhibitions worldwide.
