Een zeldzame en zeer oude kaasstolp van aardewerk, vervaardigd door Mosa Maastricht (1883-1996). Het bedrijf was opgericht door Louis I Regout en zijn zoon Louis II Regout. Deze kaasstolp komt uit de jaren '20 van de vorige eeuw. 

De kaasstolp is gemerkt met Mosa Maastricht Plateel. De kaasstolp is crèmekleurig, heeft een handgeschilderde gouden bies en bloemetjes. Het handvat is met extra goud beschilderd.
De stolp heeft een prachtig vormgegeven handvat: een gestileerde muis. De kaasstolp kan 'ademen' door het luchtgaatje wat in het handvat zit. Hij is mooi hoog, zodat er een degelijke kaas in past. Hij heeft de typisch kenmerkende vormgeving uit de Art Deco periode. 

Deze kaasstolp kom je niet snel tegen. Hij is, gezien zijn leeftijd, in een uitstekende staat. Er zijn géén chips af. Hij heeft enkel wat craquelé, zie foto's.

Het is een prachtige, grote stolp.
Afmetingen totaal:
22 x 20 x 14,5 cm.

Het is een eyecatcher op een luxe gedekte tafel of feesttafel. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan een mooi gedekte zondagse tafel of mooi gedekte tafel tijdens feestdagen. Het is ook mooi als verzamelobject of decoratief object. 

De kaasstolp wordt zorgvuldig verpakt en aangetekend verzonden.
